Access Statement for Castlehill

We endeavour to cater for all the needs of our visitors. Castlehill is sited in a Conservation area of the Old Town, due to the nature of our Victorian Town House we are unable to provide provision for wheelchair uses. We are three minutes away from Hastings station via taxi, just ask for the guesthouse next to the castle or we are a short 10 minute walk up-hill past the castle. Or arrive in style via the West Hill Victorian Vernicular, your personal lift brings you right outside the front door.

Parking and Arrival

Outside the house there are many meter parking bays at 30p for half an hour, long enough to check-in, then we can direct you to Free Parking, 400 yards away.

Public Areas and Main Entrance

Guests have 24 hour access, the main entrance is always locked. Guests have a key leading to the lobby which has the original timber floor. Lobby leads to all guest rooms on the first floor. Breakfast is served on the ground floor and furniture can be arranged to suit guest parties.

Bedrooms

All rooms are en-suite and the floors are carpeted for guests comfort. Rooms are provided with colour t.v.s. coffee and tea making bays with complementary biscuits. There are bedside tables with lamps all designed with the guests comfort in mind. Complementary luxury toiletries are provided for your enjoyment.

Outdoor Facilities

Enjoy your early morning coffee/tea on the patio whilst gazing over the English Channel. The walk way up to Castlehill is private and fitted with a grab rail guests may leave their bicycles there.
