Booking Confirmation

To secure your booking we ask for a deposit which we will confirm has been received

Equal to one night's stay or visit

Method of Payment

By cheque providing your stay is booked more than a week in advance. Card payments for overseas visitors. Remainder payable in cash on arrival.

Cancellations

Every effort will be made to relet your room, if this is not possible the deposit will then be non-refundable. We recommend you take out Holiday Insurance. We accept no further liability.

Check In/Out Times

If you wish to arrive prior to 4:00pm please let us know to ensure that someone is here to greet you. Rooms are to be vacated by 10:30am on day of departure.

No smoking throughout the Guest House

We reserve the right to alter rates and terms and conditions if necessary and without notice.

Access Statement for Castle Hill Guest House

We endeavour to cater for all the needs of our visitors. Castle Hill Guest House is sited in a conservation area of the Old Town, due to the nature of our Victorian Town House we are unable to provide provision for wheelchair uses. We are three minutes away from Hastings railway station via taxi, just ask for the Guest House next to the castle or we are a short 10 minute walk up-hill past the castle. Or of course arrive in style via the West Hill Victorian Funicular, your personal lift brings you right outside the front door.

Parking and Arrival

Outside the house there are many meter parking bays at 30p for half an hour, long enough to check-in, then we can direct you to free parking, 400 yards away.

Public Areas and Main Entrance

Guests have 24 hour access, the main entrance is always locked. Guests have a key leading to the lobby which has the original timber floor. Lobby leads to all guest rooms on the first floor. Breakfast is served on the ground floor and furniture can be arranged to suit guest parties

Bedrooms

All rooms are en-suite and the floors are carpeted for guests comfort. Rooms are provided with colour TV’s, coffee and tea making bays with complementary biscuits. There are bedside tables with lamps all designed with the guests comfort in mind. Complementary luxury toiletries are provided for your enjoyment.

Outdoor Facilities

Enjoy your early morning coffee/tea on the patio whilst gazing over the English Channel. The walk way up to Castle Hill is private and fitted with a grab rail. Guests may leave their bicycles there.
